Maintenance of quality of online education is a major problem. Problems also come up if the instructors are not properly trained on hardware and other technologies associated with such education. Increased scope of cheating and difficulty in sorting quality programs raises doubt on online degrees. Finally, there comes the problem of how employers perceive this learning experience. Often employers were found to show more preference towards traditional degree holders over those who hold online degrees. It seems that online educational programs have both prospects and problems. The light of hope shines in the fact that the problems involved in this case are all curable. All we need is to increase our awareness and make good use of the great potentials in order to deliver quality education throughout the world.
